Who We Are?

Afropolitan was born of this connection and mutual appreciation for African American and African cultures as it relates to fashion, travel, fitness, and more. Both Robert and Michael left their home countries of America and Nigeria to live in Tanzania and now Ghana. They are the visual representation of "nothing ventured, nothing gained."

Robert's life-long connection to the African diaspora was confirmed through 23&me, DNA testing that revealed he is 79.2% West African and 33.3% Nigerian specifically. Follow Robert and Michael's journey as a queer expat couple in Ghana on either TikTok or Instagram.
